ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The NZAA will be co-hosting the 2006 Annual Conference as
a joint conference with the ISAAC (International Society of Arboriculture
Australia Chapter aka “ISAAC”) in Geelong (Victoria) Australia.
It is to be held over the Friday 6th October - Wednesday 11th
October 2006
The Australian National TCC will be held on the
Saturday. On the Sunday there will be practical workshops, lectures
and the
opening reception in the evening.
At this stage there is also talk of hosting an
Australian vs New Zealand TCC Challenge (male and female champions)
for some sort of challenge cup. If this were to happen it would
be on the Sunday as well, and may well become an annual event.
Monday will be the 1st official day of the conference
and in the evening, the conference dinner will be held. There
will be two more days of presentations and lectures with the
conference finishing up on the Wednesday.
NZAA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The 2006 NZAA AGM will be held in Rotorua on
the evening of Friday 17 November,
after the playing of the inaugural NZAA fours golf tournament.
NZAA/STIHL 2006 National Tree Climbing Championship
The NZ NTCC with awards ceremony will held at Rotorua Boys High School on Saturday
18 November , 2006.

The ISA annual Conference & Trade
Show has never be this close to NZ and there is a good chance
that it will never be this close again.

NTCC will be held in Christchurch, November 2007.
